After reading tons of reviews and watching some videos on YouTube of box openings, I've signed up for a monthly subscription box!
Ipsy was #1 on my wish list, and it was a bit of a drag to find out there was a wait list.... (Can't they just make up a new box and ship it out...)
Also on a wait list for wantable
So, I've started off with beautybox5. $12/month for 5 items to sample/try out.
They also ship to Canada for only $3 more so that was good. If you sign up for 3 months it's a bit cheaper. I was also able to get a promo code online which gave me the August beautybox5 box for free!
Septembers box should be arriving in a few days and I'm super stoked!
Anyone else decide to cave in and subscribe to any fun boxes lately?

I am on the wait list for topbox. I am interested in ipsy too but I am waiting till Christmas is done. Then we plan on getting the Nerd Crate for each of our 4 kids.

I'm currently subscribed to three boxes; Ipsy, Lip monthly and FabFitFun
Not sure if Ipsy still has this, but i signed up last month and got off the waitlist right away by liking ipsy on facebook and posting about them on twitter. Its the way to avoid the waitlist they talk about.

Topbox and ipsy for me

I've been with ipsy for 4 months now (got off the waitlist by posting onto fb) and love it! Just got off the waitlist for Topbox and the prive boxes seem really exciting.
I used to subscribe to LuxeBox but cancelled when they switched to seasonal boxes. It was fun while it lasted, but part of the appeal was getting something in the mail every month and not every 3 months =)

I'm currently subscribed to Ipsy but I'd love to sign up for a few more boxes...I'm just not sure which ones are really worth it and which ones have inexpensive shipping to Canada.
any canadian company? on Sep 08, 2014 @ 09:43 am
Most of them are from USA, any compagny from canada with free shipping?

It seems like Ipsy is the way to go for subscriptions these days. I had a Loose Buttons subscription a few years ago when the subscription thing first got started, the boxes started out great and then just got worse and worse. I find some of the companies have a hard time keeping the quality product going. Its always best to go online and look at peoples reviews of previous months boxes before you go out and buy a plan. Ipsy lets you buy it monthly so you don't have to worry about having to buy a year or 6 months worth at the start.

I am in love with Subscription Boxes!
I get Ipsy, Beauty Box 5 and TopBox (I am in Canada)
Then I subscribe to Luxebox and Fabfitfun which come every season!
I receive a ton of memeboxes!
I have tried nail polish boxes: Julep & square hue.
I have also tried quite a few different boxes - if you are interested in seeing any reviews about boxes you aren't sure about - check out my blog seetheworldinpink.blogspot.ca
I always review a ton and I take suggestions if you have any that ship to Canada that you would like to see reviewed!
BB5 on Oct 10, 2014 @ 02:41 pm
I have a quick question, so I just got my first BB5 in the mail yesterday, but the card in the box said it was for the month of August :s, is this normal?
Ipsy is awesome on Oct 16, 2014 @ 08:23 pm
I loved Ipsy. I didn't like BB5. I got into so many of them, bt Ipsy was the best...Glam Bag and Luxe Box were bad...
