The Pony tail is a staple. Here are just a few ways to wear your pony. My favorite is the High pony tail! I try to get creative with my pony tails, like adding accessories, curling, teasing etc.
- Makes a statement. Exerts a lot of confidence, and can look really sexy and flirty. Can look great with waves or straight hair.
Mid pony tail
- The more casual pony. Keep this one for going to the gym or running errands.
Low pony tail
- Looks really nice and polished when paired with a pair of glamorous earrings. Looks lovely with a little wave, or just pin straight.

I think the last picture you have here with the side-loose ponytail is beautiful. I like to wear my hair like that this every so often.

I think the pony is one of those effortless hairstyles that suits any face shape. there are so many variations too! i usually go for the side pony with a thin jeweled headband at work. (:

I love love love a ponytail with super long hair like in the first picture. It looks amazing up high like that, although I suspect it would be very heavy!
Honestly that picture makes me never want to cut my hair again

@handleit220 - I love that look! Unfortunately I have yet to find a headband that fits me - my skull is a little larger than average :/

@mamaluv - it needs to be to hold the nerd in you ;-) sorry girl you sort of walked into that one :)
But really your skull isn't too big! Perhaps the average headband sold in the states is just small ;-)

and the mid pony is pretty much my everyday look.. I'm going to look for a good flower clip and try the side pony tomorrow!
Headband Discrimination on Jan 13, 2011 @ 04:22 pm
I must have a big head too. Headbands always give me a headache by the end of the day because they feel to tight, I've even broken a couple trying to bend them and make them a little wider.

I have the same problem with headbands. I always get a headache after 30 mins of wearing them! So, I try to get ones that are not metal, and I've found some really nice elastic ones (I know elastic sounds tacky, but they are really nice looking!!) with pretty detail like cute bows, flowers, sparkle..at ALDO and Forever 21.
no really, I have a big head on Jan 14, 2011 @ 02:03 pm
@Becky - I do have a big head because I have to buy men's large hats (have yet to find a women's hat that fits, and I've been looking for a long time) and back in the day when we owned a scooter, my helmet was bigger than my hubby's.
Sad but true! (and yes, I see I set myself up there! Oh well, it wasn't that bad of a burn)
well.. on Jan 14, 2011 @ 02:28 pm
It's technically not a burn per say, I always took being called a nerd as a compliment! :) It's fashionable to be nerdy these days! Nerd is the new cool ;-)
