I think for some people as they get older ,its just natural for their hair to get thinner

My hair has always been thin, but within the past month I was diagnosed with a thyroid problem which would partially explain the thin hair. The other part is genetics. I have been taking a hair/skin/nail biotin supplement for about a year, and I have noticed that my hair is a little bit fuller and stronger, as well as shinier, now. I'm taking medication to get my thyroid working better, and I'm hoping that after awhile that also has an effect on my hair growth. Unfortunately though, some of us are just cursed with thin hair, and I'm sure when I'm in my golden years it's going to thin a lot more.

While a healthy diet and products that build volume can help with thinning hair, that's not always enough. Sometimes there's an underlying health condition or stress.
