What apparently started as a joke has now become a cause for one photographer, whose images of gorgeous hairy-pitted women are making news under "Natural Beauty". While I'm all for accepting, embracing, thinking outside the box, this goes a little far for me. It gives me the urge to skip out of work early for a fun little waxing sesh.
Cover your eyes, if you're squeamish:
Interestingly (and I think also appropriately) this photographer chooses to use "conventionally beautiful" models so as to not imply that "unconventionally beautiful" women are the only ones who would do this.
What do you think?

This is one of those things that society has completely ruined. I'm 100% for doing whatever makes you feel confident. If you are okay with not shaving/waxing your pits - you rock those hairy pits!!
I personally shave mine, but I have nothing against people who choose not to. The fact that this is a "controversial" topic makes me rather sad. Why do we as a society choose to judge people on things that we have no business in? If it makes them happy and it doesn't harm anyone else. Then it's fine and we should just be happy for them.

I realise that every culture is different and some woman in our world never shave their pits, but this is definitely not for me. I don't want to do this and I sure don't want to look at it. I can see letting our legs go for a bit through out the winter, its cold in Canada after all, but my pit are always hair free and God willing they will stay that way!

Most of us shave ours but if you don't it's not hurting anyone so do whatever works and feels good to you.
