I often have dark shadows under my eyes. I've tried to use concealers, powders, foundations and nothing seems to work. I know that I'm supposed to use a lighter shade than my natural skin tone but somehow it doesn't conceal the darkness.
Also, the makeup tends to exaggerate the fine lines I have in that area and so I'm looking for advice on how to apply under eye concealer and also which brands are the best?

Hmmm, I'm not one for any make up advice as I rarely wear any myself. My sister suffers from dark shadows under her eyes. I can ask what she does for them. Mine show up when I've not had enough sleep, but go right away once I'm well rested. I don't know how busy your life is or how much you sleep, but perhaps an extra 30 mins each night might help!

I think I could always use more sleep, regardless of whether I have dark areas under my eyes! It's a good point, health first and beauty will follow.
In my case, though, I think it's natural. My skin is very light and has a transparant-ness about it, so a lot shows through. My kids are all deathly pale like me and have darkish areas under their eyes too, and they get 10+ hours every night. I really need the extra help of makeup I'm afraid...Thanks anyway!

I found this beauty blog, and she has some info on undereye circles. I have no idea whether any of these options work or anything, but it's worth a shot!
Don't think I can post a link here. So..The blog is mynaturalbeautytips<.>blogspot<.>com. It is one of the past posts.
