Did you see the blog post about ChickAdvisor's top picks for hair straighteners?

http://blog.chickadvisor.com/2010/06/tried-true-hair-straighteners.html

I was told by an employee at the Beauty Supply Outlet that using wet-to-dry straighteners are damaging to your hair.

Has anyone tried one??

I heard the same... on Jun 15, 2010 @ 11:07 am

I haven't tried one, but my hair stylist told me the same thing. As far as I know, your hair should be completely dry by the time you pick up your flat iron. And if you've ever used your flat iron on a damp patch, you hear that sizzling sound and steam rises up. There's nooo way that can be good for your hair.
