So you know how when you paint a wall you gotta prime first? The same thing has been adapted into beauty: before your foundation, you prime. It's become quite a common and popular beauty practice. Since face primers have become A Thing, eye shadow primers, mascara primers etc. have all been taking off. So, it shouldn't become as too much of a surprise when you hear about a new primer product: perfume primer.
Canvas & Concrete fragrance primer is an all natural, scent free base that keeps your scent lasting long. You spray it on and let it dry, then putting on your signature scent.
According to the brand, having a natural barrier between your skin and the scent allows for it to last longer, as well as not get distorted by your body's natural pH. That means it will smell the same in the bottle as it does on your skin. (via refinery29.com)
I don't know how I feel about this. I love my fragrances but a primer seems just slightly excessive. Would it really make that much of a difference? Isn't it a bit unnecessary?
What do you think? Would you try this?

I am not sure this would make a huge difference in terms of longevity of the fragrances. Most of my perfumes have pretty good lasting power
I'd be curious to read a review on this though

some of my perfume last long and i dont think it is necessary. i guess it will just add another dent in your pocket. same with gl0ss, im quite curious to its reviews.

I don't think I would try this, kinda seems like a waste of money. I have enough things filling my make up bag and this seems like just an extra thing to take up space. I know it is a small easy step but I don't want more steps added when I'm getting ready in the morning. I think it is just too much now.

I love perfumes but they never star on me!! hubby can never smell them 10 minutes after I put it on. I have tried different types of scents. Expensive scents, body sprays. I have tried putting it on pulse points, all over me. On my skin, clothes, hair. I have tried layering scents with body lotions. Nothing works. If this works it would be a miracle.

This seems really extraneous. I use a face primer, and an eyeshadow primer, because I can see the difference. Mascara primers have never delivered, so why bother. I don't think this can deliver either.

I would not use this, the whole point of trying different perfumes is to find the one that smells fantastic when combined with your own unique body chemistry. Who wants to smell exactly like everybody else?

I would love to try this product.

Perfume smells pretty much last all day. This primer doesn't seem like it would do much.

it's good for people who know how to wear perfume, the one who spray half a bootle on them, not so good
