Ciate, the company behind the Caviar mani and known for selling DIY nail art kits at Sephora is bringing new meaning to 'nails on a chalkboard'. Ciate has announced a soon to be released chalkboard manicure kit, set to hit UK stores late April 2013.
It seems to be pretty hush hush right now, but according to the blogosphere, the kit will include a base coat, and four mini liquid chalk pens for painting over top on your nails and then a top coat to prevent chipage.
I'm curious as to what exactly this polish is made of and if it will look like chalk. Ciate packages are on the pricier side too so I'm not sure if I'll try this out. What about you? Would you do a chalkboard mani?

It looks like so much fun but if it at all has the texture of a chalkboard I wouldn't be able to handle it.

I think the chalkboard craze is kind of going overboard now, but we'll have to wait and see.

I'm with you ali-de-bold, just the thought of nails and chalkboard together is sending shivers down my spine!

I like it but agree I really hope it doesn't have that feeling of chalk going on the nails(SHUDDER)

This is really cool, and looks adorable. I'd definitely be willing to try this out! I wouldn't even care about the feel of the whole "chalk board" thing - as it's on the top of your nail.
