Gift Ideas for men

Well, I dont think men generally like mushy stuff. What I suggest and things I've gotten for my bf. Web cam (can be beneficial to both of you if you know what i mean) home entertainment speakers, cologne, SHOES, those electrical shavers, Best Buy gift certificate, satellite radio for his car, just to throw a few things out there

What to get a man who has everything.. on Nov 17, 2011 @ 02:43 pm

My boyfriend & I have been together for 4 years and whenever the holiday season or his birthday comes around, I ALWAYS fret on what to buy him.
This man has everything. Whatever he wants, he buys. I'll ask what he wants & and he answers "you wrapped up in a bow". EVERY YEAR. He is no help whatsoever.
Ladies..I'm turning to you for help now, too!
I've started out with a subscription to a car magazine (he's a sports car junkie)
What's next?

To date, I've bought him cologne, video games, model cars (even those ones you put together yourself), remote control helicopter (and car), clothes (which he never wears), boxers, socks, a vaccuum cleaner and other various things for his home, wallets, etc.

I don't know what to do anymore! lol
Please help :(

Sports tickets on Dec 11, 2011 @ 09:55 am

Another great idea would be getting him tickets to his favourite sporting event....Basketball, baseball, hockey....etc. Great for sports fanatics.

SHAVER!! on Dec 19, 2011 @ 09:59 pm

I dont know one guy that wouldnt love a brand spankin' new Shaver/shaving kit!! They seem to get soo excited over this kinda stuff! lol

I also know from experience if you wanna just get a smaller gift/ more personal one is to make a homemade coupon book full of 'deeds' that would make him happy...use your imagination for some! LOL *wink*

snuggies on Jan 24, 2012 @ 04:22 pm

i hate that you get the answer "i dont know" or "nothing"

my bf collects racecar stuff, you can get something he really likes or is into like mma shirts. race car memorabilia.

also things like razors, shavers, sahving cream.if he is into games then buy him a game.
parts they have wanted for a vehicle.

snuggies make a great gift!!

Plan something.... on May 04, 2012 @ 10:17 am

Instead of just buying something, plan something! Be it a road trip somewhere or buying sports tickets or tickets to an event he'll like and making a day of it, gets you pretty far! Guys like to be pampered as much as we do! I got an ex of mine tickets to UFC and planned a whole road trip to Montreal for us to go watch it! He was elated!

Gamestop! on May 16, 2012 @ 09:41 pm

My man is all about EB games and Gamestop. I just have a quick chit chat with one of their employees and I am guaranteed to buy a stellar gift for him :)

His night out on Jun 24, 2012 @ 11:37 pm

For my boyfriends birthday I bought him tickets to Edgefest in Toronto. Edgefest is a concert that has many different up and coming bands put on by The Edge Radio Station. His buddy bought tickets as well. I promised to drive them to the concert so they would be able to have a few drinks, and then pick them after. The boys thought this was a great gift!

a couple more ideas... on Jul 20, 2012 @ 01:02 am

We don't do big gifts... but my guy is SO hard to buy for.

Just picked up one of these for his b'day. He's going to love it: pebbled leather ipad case

Also, got my bro (who is a Crown Royal fan) personalized labels on his bottles. They have that service on the website.

Wine lover? I am getting a membership for us (both) in a barrel club for a regional vineyard... bottles (with matched chef's recipes) delivered to the door every month. Or one where we pay for an actual barrel in their cellar and they have it labelled for us... we get the investment value back in wine... AND get the personalized barrel after they use it for 3 years to make wine. Thinking of this for a big anniversary coming up...

Like you guys I've done the electronics (I just am not good with that stuff), cologne, gorgeous shirts (if you guy loves to dress, you can get custom shirts made), video games, wallet, boxers, pj's, gift cert to get his car detailed. Hard to be creative...
