You may remember this story about the 10 year old fashion model. Well...
I stumbled upon this video of an interview with Cecilia Cassini- probably the world's youngest fashion designer.
I'm not sure what to make of her. First of, sorry to say but she seems like a total spoiled brat!
Second, while child prodigies exist, I seriously doubt the genuine ability of a child to design. I believe real art has to do with life experiences and she doesn't have any! It's like when J Biebs sings about heart ache, sure it's cute and he is a good singer but what does he know?!
Check out her site (link on her name) for her online store. Would you buy any of the clothes? Do you think these child (movie stars, designers, models etc.) should be allowed?

I'm thinking 10years down the road when she looks back on this video she'll be cringing. I hope.
Don't want to insult a kid so I won't tell you what her flamboyant attitude and ditzy answers remind me of...
I think a child can design clothes for her own age group, basically she'll be drawing/designing what she would want to wear herself (although that's not what she seems to be attempting?) but what's up with her attitude?

I'm hoping that it's kind of an act, because I hate to think that she is really, honestly like that all the time.
Her parents probably bought all her "fame".I really don't see how she could get so much attention on her own with her designs, I'm sure a lot of girls her age are doing the same thing, they just don't have rich parents.
I am so super annoyed by her attitude

I also watched her appearance on the Nate Berkus show and am appaled by what she was wearing, call me old fashioned but 10-11 year old girls shouldn't be wearing knee high black boots and short leopard print dresses, the clothes, the hair the jewelry, definitely way to grown up.

Well first of all I think it's great she is able to express herself creatively like that. I think her clothes are exactly the sort of thing 8-10 year old girls would love to dress up in because they are sparkly. But I almost thought the interview was a joke because of the way she was talking. Let's keep in mind she is 10 so she's extremely young and hasn't had a chance to mature yet. Hopefully her parents are working really hard to keep her grounded.

Well, I have to give it to her. She designs better than Betsy Johnson and she Is only 10. How old is Betsy...mmmm

No offense, but her style sorta seems a little "disney" fine for the age, but not a real designer haute fashion girl.

She should make the costumes for Toddlers and Tiaras. She'd fit right in.
