Black Nail Polish: Trendy or Trashy?

on Dec 02, 2010 @ 07:14 pm I want to paint my nails black, but I'm not sure of the image it gives off. I don't want to look hard and extreme like Jenny Humphrey on Gossip Girl, but more freshly fashionable while still looking like the girl next door like Serena. Thoughts?  |

 jchang212 | TRENDY AND CLASSY! on Dec 02, 2010 @ 10:40 pm I LOVE wearing black nail polish and have been dying to buy a really good one that doesn't give any streaks. I think black nail polish also looks better with shorter nails, unlike in the picture you posted...that look a bit too gothy for me. And your outfit definitely sets the vibes your nailpolish gives off as well. If you think black might be a bit too much, try a really dark-almost-black purple/blue/maroon that you can only tell is colored if you look closely. :) |
