Chanel Debuts The Nail Ring

The fall 2013 couture shows recently took place and Chanel introduced us to what might be the next big thing in nail art: nail jewelry.

They're rings that sit right on your nail. Models wore them with unpainted, plain nails.

What do you think of this? Will it become a trend? Would you wear them?

Hmmmmm.... on Jul 02, 2013 @ 03:48 pm

I'm not sure I would be able to wear the, they don't look too comfortable, plus they might get in the way of turning pages. I am not sure how secure they are either or how easily they would fall off. I don't think I like them

I think I like them, but I'm never without nailpolish so it might be a tad much. I have a few that sit right before the middle knuckle though (like the model is wearing on her middle finger) and I adore them, they're very different and I've gotten loads of compliments on them.

I don't like it... I would always fear it to fall off my fingers.

Not for me on Jul 17, 2013 @ 04:52 pm

I just don't see how anyone could get much done wearing rings like this. It would be to much of a bother for me.

Not very practical for everyday. Might be convinced to try it for a night out but I think I would be so preoccupied with losing the rings that it might interfere with having a good time.

I really don't see this being a very practical accessory. I feel like they would just get in the way.
