A company called Day2Night has made convertible heels- meaning it's a shoe with multiple heel sizes that you can snap on and off!
Here's a promo video for the company and their site.
It's a pretty interesting concept- basically you have a basic kitten heel and then other heels that come with it that are attached.
Regular price they are $300 and on sale right now for $150
I'm not sure if I would pay that much for them, even if they are technically a few shoes in one. Also, I wonder if your heel would break easily?
What do you think of these? Would you buy them?

I'm with you, I'm a bit skeptical of these. I would have to try them out or know someone who personally has. I feel the heel may not be as sturdy, thus causing it to break or wear much easier.
Also I'm not a fan of the look of the shoe. Again, I'd have to actually see them, try them on etc.
At $150 for a no name shoe... no thanks..

ha when I found these I thought ooo what a great idea!
But I wish they were just plain black pumps instead of slingbacks and peep toes which i think are less versatile.

I LIKE the idea, however I really dont like the style of shoe...they should create a line of different styles for them to attach to! That way theyd attract a bigger market :)
nice! on Dec 22, 2011 @ 10:24 am
I like the idea and I think they do have different styles...but I can totally see the heels snapping off or not staying on securely.. hmm.. Nice idea though!

No. They're ugly.
And there's only one way to wear heels....sky high. Otherwise why bother?
Oh gawd on Dec 24, 2011 @ 12:35 am
This is the first time I've heard of these and for $150 sale price?!! Yeah right...it's not really more than one shoe because nobody will notice you're wearing a different shoe if it's a slightly different height....I'd rather get two nice, different looking pair of heels at $150 each than one of these at $300.
Plus, good grief, if your heel breaks on you while you're walking! You could break your ankle and not to mention seriously embarrass yourself. I would NOT wear these at all and I love high heels.

I hate the shoes, but I love the concept. I mean, say you want to go out wearing sky high heels. If you're unsure that you could last the night, just throw the kitten heels into your bag as well, and switch it out if you get wobbly! That said, they need different styles to choose from and a lower price tag to convince me--and I'd have to try it out in a store or have a money-back guarantee.

I think its an interesting idea but i dont like the back strap that much and i dont know how secure those would be
great ideas! on Jan 06, 2012 @ 08:54 pm
love the concept.
if this applies for a close shoe, which i can use at the office, i will buy one (no-not the one in picture). I like to look tall in the office, but really want a shorter heels when you are walking to the parking lot and heading home.
Neat idea.... on Feb 08, 2012 @ 06:39 pm
I'm not so sure about them... I think I'd rather have all kinds of different shoes with different heels! :)
