I just can't picture it. Part of buying a wedding dress is the experience of going to a nice bridal shop with your Mother and girlfriends and trying on dresses until someone cries that it's the one. Unless they are setting up a separate area where it feels separate from the store, the big box environment would be really unappealing.

I agree with you completely. I would want that exact experience, but I don't think everyone really cares about having that type of experience, which is why I think they actually might be quite successful with this new line. Sad.. but true. :)

I can't imagine buying your dress without trying it on, regardless of where it's from. Also according to the article, buying it from costco is no more cost effective than buying it from David's Bridal so why would you do it?
