Fashion - does this idea sound good or bad? Please Help!!

so I have this black with white stripes long sleeved jacket that sits just at the waist. its very nice. I was thinking of wearing a bright green t-shirt underneath.

I just don't want to do the old age thing and wear another black underneath. I think it's boring. When i put the green with the jacket it's actually ok but it's an outfit you kinda have to look at but may be taken aback when seen first. I'm not sure if i should put these together or if it's too in your face.

I can't find a nice red anywhere which would have been nice so now.....green or not? i just don't want to look uncoordinated and ugly. I'm going to a rock concert so i was thinking this
with jeans and pumps.

what do you guys think? how does this sound

halsalla 342	Rock on! on May 31, 2012 @ 01:56 pm Green and neon colours are coming back into style, it sounds like it would be quite a statement but its a concert so rock out! I wouldn't wear it to your grandmas for dinner but still good for a concert or a party. Good luck!

alexjc	Neon Pattern on May 31, 2012 @ 02:02 pm I really like neons and I think they can totally be done with a pattern, just keep your bottoms a solid colour or a denim. I think a neon and a pattern would fit well into a concert environment too. I wouldn't go with red just because it's summer time and I think you should have fun with bright colours! Though, if you are feeling a little self conscious about it, going with a darker or more subtle colour is totally fine. You could also try a very pale, pastel shade maybe? This is pretty summery and not too out there.

ali-de-bold	I have a jacket just like that on Jun 01, 2012 @ 07:56 pm I don't know what the stripes are like on yours but I find with mine it's best to go minimal and let the jacket be the accent. Definitely wear it with jeans. Here is mine:
