Not too long a go we talked about (and I geeked out over) really cool 3D printed jewelry, the same company, Hot Pop Factory has made 3D printed wood jewelry and it's even cooler.
It's called The Boreal Necklace. The curves in the necklace and the heat-induced striations are unique to every piece. Composed of recycled cherry wood and polymer, The 3D printed wood actually emanates the slightest scent of charred wood during the printing process.
They've also released a new geometric collection called Platonix. The collection features three-dimensionally intertwined platonic geometry made of 3D printed nylon.
The collections launch April 30th and are available online.
