It's cute. But a little...I don't know corny maybe? Seeing a mascot type of costume on the cover of a fashion magazine is a bit odd to me.

At first, I thought it was a bit creepy, but it is actually growing on me!
I have to say- LOVE her feather bow! And it's totally different than what you'd usually see!

I think it's fun to have something new on covers! Something refreshingly different than the starlet du jour or a model that sparks controversy because she's too thin, too voluptuous, too whatever.
We've been delighted with Miss Piggy's enduring popularity and recent gigs with major brands like OPI, so Hello Kitty really isn't that different. How would you guys feel about seeing Miss Piggy on the cover?

How would Andre Talley Leon or Anna Wintour feel about having Hello Kitty gracing the cover of a fashion mag?
|Asia loves Hello Kitty on Jan 13, 2012 @ 05:58 pm|
Hello Kitty is an Asian thing. We have Hello Kitty stationaries, pencils, etc. I can say it is a fad, but it lingers from generation to generation. Even adults like Hello Kitty, I know...my sister's key holder in her SUV is hello kitty. That was in 2009, she was 28.
Maybe like Barbie in North America?
I recall one Asian Comedian saying that no Honda car is complete without a Hello Kitty sticker, and there is bound to be a Hello Kitty baseball bat under the seats - just in case (our idea of self defense).
My best friend now 37 years old, still send me mails in Hello Kitty stationaries with matching stickers.
