I've never been to The Clothing Show in Toronto, but I'm interested in
participating this time around. How's the clothing show in general? Are
they at discounted prices? They seem to have a lot of varieties of
clothing, jewelries and accessories vendors so I'm keen to see what you
guys think of the show.

The Toronto Clothing show is GREAT! I actually resist going to the malls for weeks before the show so I can save up some money to spend at it! I have been going to them for a few years now. I usually pick up a few really nice, and often unique, items.
There is a lot of variety at the show. There are sample sales where you can get a great deal, (eg. on a great skirt; first show I went to). The jewellery selection is amazing and mostly (if not all) hand made by the people selling it. My friend and I always get a few great pieces! And if you don't see something that is quiet right they might make or modify something for you right at the show (had a bracelet made for me on-the-spot, last year!). Granted some of the items are quite expensive, but that's mostly the hand-made clothes and accessories. Some of the items are beautiful and well worth the splurge! I have a hand-made jacket... it's so cute and one-of-a-kind!
My friend and I usually make a day of going to the show. There is always a lot to see and deals to be had (sometimes you have to hunt!). But I think it's a great day out, even if you don't find something you love.
In fact, I just realized, I'm wearing one of the tops I bought at the show a couple of years ago!
I highly recommend the Clothing Show and hope you check it out! Have fun! :)

Patricia's absolutely right. It costs $10 to get in (but unless they've changed the rules, you could pay that on Friday and go back on Saturday and Sunday for free if you wanted), but it is completely worth that, and even more.
I even made a big (for me!) purchase there in May -- I bought a ceramic hair straightener from (NP Group) (got it for $90) and I am normally so skeptical about haircare/styling products but it's fantastic, plus I've bought really sexy boots and a great silk top and a a silk dress for a wedding at past shows, in addition to gifts for other people at the December one. I hope you go and have a blast!
MissChickie, do you think maybe ChickAdvisor.com could organize a Shop Crawl-like event for the December Clothing Show, or maybe the Spring 2009 one? I think that would be fantastic . . .

Very interesting! I have emailed their PR to learn more about this.
