Happy New Year everyone!

I'm looking for the ever elusive comfortable shoes for work. Do they really exist??

I'm looking for some black shoes with a bit of height, we'll say 2.5 inches. Anything in the Toronto malls?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

That they do!

But places to look would depend on your general style preference&budget.
(Are you looking for something more sensible? Heels? Open-toed? Closed-toe? Wedges? Boots?)

But since it's SALE season... it's definitely a good time to look.

One spot that's definitely worth the trip is Vaughan Mills.

They have a TON of shoe stores-- not to mention Style Sense, the Brown's outlet and the Town Shoes outlet, which are my three favorite places to track down what I'm looking for!

Those are definitely stores I would check out. I'm looking for something that can be worn in the office all year round, a reasonable height.

To give you an idea:

I'm unsure what the soles look like, but I'd like them to have some tread as sometimes I'd go out for lunch and it may be slippery out.

Thanks again!

NICE!
:)
(shoes are my FAVORITE!)
even though I still lack skin on my feet from NYE...!

So, if I had to pick one store to recommend for shoe shopping (comfortable work-appropriate shoes or otherwise)... it would be style sense.
There aren't many of them in the GTA, but that store is definitely worth a trip.

It's basically like a Winner's store, but exclusively for shoes&accessories.
So you're never paying full retail price and there is a CRAZY selection.
Plus, they have the inventory broken up into sections: boots, athletic, comfort, dress, etc.
And there's typically a clearance section in the back

VERY fun store and worth the trip!
And they carry brands such as Nine West, Miss Sixty, Franco Sarto, or even pricier options like Michael Kors, Salvatore Ferragamo, or Tod's.

I do love sale season...!
good luck/have fun!
:)
