Beyondtherack occasionally has good deals, also sign up for their newsletter and they will send you 10 & 20$ off coupon to use on anything (no minimum purchase required) which is nice.

Most e-tailers have free shipping when you have a minimum purchase. It is different store to store, such as $25 for Amazon.ca, $50 for OldNavy.ca, etc. You should also look on RetailMeNot for all sorts of promos including what the purchase minimum is for free shipping plus any coupon codes that happen to be available at the time.
I also really love Ebates which I use all the time. You earn cash back on many purchases and I've earned probably around $300-400 over the years on stuff I'd be buying anyway. I especially love it for Christmas shopping, which I do a lot online. You can also use coupon codes, and Ebates lists them on each store's detail page so you can easily find them.
My favourite places to shop online are always stores that also have physical locations, such as the Gap brands, OshKosh, The Bay, Sport Chek, etc. This way if you have any issues, you can often return or exchange the items in store rather than having to go through the hassle of online returns! For this same reason, I generally steer clear of e-tailers with complicated return policies and/or don't pay return postage for you (which usually starts at $10-15 and upward).
I will also admit that sometimes I 'showroom', which means I'll check something out in stores and then go home and buy online if the deal is better. However, it can also be that the opposite is true (that it is cheaper to buy in stores, especially if they have a deal or coupon), so just know your prices.
I know it can sometimes be frustrating to meet shopping minimums in order to qualify for free shipping, but usually you can find everyday items you will buy eventually anyway to bump your cart value up. For example, if I shop Old Navy, I know my kids will need new jeans every fall for school, so I'll chuck a pair in my cart in the size I expect they'll need and then meet my minimum. And if the pants don't fit in fall? I just head over to the local store and exchange for the right size.
Best of all, online shopping beats the crowds and often the size selection is better because they are rarely sold out of a size (unless you're shopping the clearance section). Good luck!

This is something that I have never ever done,is on line shopping. For some reason I don't trust giving out my private information on line and secondly,I like to see up close the items that I am buying. It might be safe shopping that way,my sister does it all the time,I still prefer my way.

Anglewings, I use to feel the same way you do. But.., once I gave it a try out of desperation I am addicted. I still am very careful where I shop but some of the deals. For example, I tried to order 2 ladder bookcases with drawers from Sear cataologue, they didn't have any more Out of Stock, so went on line to see who might have them. Here's the quick and dirty on this, Sears wanted $374.00/bookcase, Manufactured in California wanted $354.00/bookcase (but shipping cost as much as the shelves. Out of desperation I tried Lowes.ca, they had the shelves for $204.00/bookcase delivered no less. Out of stock, kept checking, they arrive today.
I used PayPal to pay for these items, it is easy to sign up and extremely safe.
There are so many places on line to shop, just be careful, check out the site and get as much info as you can before ordering.

Old Navy is probably my favorite, but free shipping is only on orders of $50 or more. I usually try to take advantage of the coupons and Old Navy Bucks whenever possible. You can find some pretty great deals. I also love ordering from Sephora and Lush.
