|fake all the way! on Dec 06, 2011 @ 10:33 am|
In every animal I see a bit of my kitten. Sounds weird huh? I couldn't hurt her if my life depended on it...she's our baby. I wouldn't want to skin an animal just so I can have something fashionable to wear. It just looks and feels wrong to me.
Fake fur and pleather look just as good and works just as well as the real deal. No one can tell! :-)
I recently, very accidentally saw the slaughter of a black and white goat on youtube. Guess what colour combo my baby is? Since then I've stopped eating red meat. I have the occasional chicken if there are no vege / fish alternatives, but no red meat. I keep seeing that little goat struggling for its life trying to get away... :'(

Would have said real, but now I say go for the fake. We have enough

part of me says real ... the other part of me thinks of the animal on the other end that had no real way of protecting itself from being killed.
I dunno....I think that's a hard question to answer because for the most part we all wear leather shoes.....and we all know where that comes from.

If you seen two women walking down the street both wearing the same boots - but one's made with real fur and the other made with fake - could you tell the difference? I know I couldn't. I would definitively buy fake fur. I love animals too much to wear them!

i cant really tell the difference much between real and faux fur, i'd rather go fake. Just because of what some of those animals go through, I try to do my best not to use/buy things that are made from/tested on animals. I think most of us do use some stuff though, its hard sometimes not to or to really know whats "cruelty free" and what isnt
