Usually it's better to be over-dressed than under-dressed - firstly because you'll look more stylish than everyone else and it exudes confidence. I wouldn't say that wearing heels suggests over doing it - I mean, they're just heels not glittery sequins. And if the event is special, then the outfit deserves to be special as well.
Get the black dress, wear the heels, get a nice clutch to match and have a great time! |

There is no such thing. Besides, any excuse for a LBD is great and its such a staple you are sure to use it again. Most importantly, do whatever is going to make you feel glamorous. That's the best part of special events anyway. Good luck! |
