Can we wear high boots with gauchos/capris? Was that ever in style at all? I live in the sticks and no one here dresses with any discernable fashion, so I have no idea what's going on these days...
Actually maybe this should have been in the "rant" section. Hmmm.

I don't know why, but I'm not really a fan of gauchos. But with capris? I would like to know the answer to this question as well...
|Not sold on gauchos either on Jan 24, 2007 @ 11:39 am|
they were the only pants that fit in my "fat" wardrobe (post-preggie) - see my whiny bid for free workout dvd. I think I only bought them 'cuz they were on sale and I only have to shave my legs from the top of the knee down. When you have children, sometimes this simple can be a rare occurrence. Actually in my defense they are somewhat tailored not just freeform baggy, which I agree can't look good on anyone.

I'm not an expert but I do watch the trends closely. You can wear long boots with capris. Looks sophisticated actually. Gauchos on the other hand are an older trend that I personally don't think will be sticking around for long so I wouldn't invest in some if you don't already own them.

gauchos do look really comfy though.

I wear this in the office sometimes. I actually like the look. I have never invested in gauchos ... I think I look like I am drowning in them cause I am so short! Ah well, I guess we shall see how long they stick around!
