What Will You Buy Next?

on Feb 09, 2011 @ 02:37 pm

I want an ASOS bow head band turban - I've had enough of winter and the cold wind that makes my ears red.
What's next on your shopping list?

some spring stuff.... on Feb 09, 2011 @ 10:12 pm

but business wear....I have a business trip coming up soon (and it's in a warm location- woo hoo!)

Thinking I will check out the spring collections but don't want to sport brights in February even in a warm place-maybe a print skirt and black cardigan....

I'm curious... on Feb 10, 2011 @ 02:05 pm

@meredith - where are you off too? tell me more :)
A bright skirt could be super cute, especially paired with a darker top. Or you could choose a bright colour like yellow or pink in a deeper tone (not so neon).

I've finally found a place that sells Urban Decay naked palette, so I'm going there tomorrow to pick mine up! yay :-)

If you guys are curious: It's at Queen and Beverly (take the queen street westbound streetcar and get off at Soho).

love this on Feb 10, 2011 @ 02:40 pm

I love planning what I want to buy next. I also happen to think that it's a good way to be responsible with money. If you decide what you want (rather than just going to the mall and choosing nice things as you see them) you will only buy things that you have been thinking about and really want.

I think my next purchase needs to be for a new pair of black flats. I wore my pair from last year to the bone and they need to be replaced before flats-wearing weather comes!

I would also like a bright coloured skirt.

shades! on Feb 11, 2011 @ 12:09 am

I start planning this one just after Xmas-
I do this every spring I splurge of new Sunglasses a great pair that will last all yr long adds pizzaz to any outfit....Thinking of Bvlgari or Tom Ford not sure this year.

Sounds good! on Feb 11, 2011 @ 09:08 am

@becky - I want to hear about how awesome that palette is.
@cathy - Aldo is having a huge clearance sale (I bet you could find more than one pair of cute flats
@misssabrina - I'm jealous you can make sunglasses last that long, no matter how hard I try I always find a way to break mine.

hmmm.... on Feb 12, 2011 @ 10:49 am

I am going to Miami.

I am not making a big deal about it at work because I haven't been at my job a full year (yet)...but I have an amazing boss who really encourages and challenges me. I am going to be organizing a conference for my company and it's the first time this conference has ever been held in Canada. Sooooo there is a version of this conference going on in Miami and my boss asked the CEO if I could go and I am on my way.

I am excited about the conference-it's a big opportunity for me. I want to get things right when it's my turn!

I am thinking I am going to do mostly dresses at the conference-I feel like I can't go wrong. It's not too casual and I can dress it up with some funky tights or stockings and accessorize it the way I want!

I am also considering a new fragrance but not sure which one yet-there are a ton of new ones I want to try!

whoops.... on Feb 12, 2011 @ 10:50 am

@lauren just saw your reply!

Funny you said that, I do have an awesome print skirt that I usually pair with a short sleeve sweater. I am most likely bringing that. I also have a purple dress and a navy shirt dress that is nice.

mission naked palette accomplished! on Feb 15, 2011 @ 03:54 pm

Finally I managed to snag myself a UrbanDecay naked palette. I reviewed it here

The next thing on my list to buy is: Clarsonic mia
I've read a lot of reviews on this product (are you girls like me or am I unique in that I review the life out of everything before I buy it??).

Some of the reviews are:

I read some other reviews comparing the Mia to Neutrogena Wave ...which of course I can't find anymore, but anyways...

It's an expensive toy, but it looks very promising! And it's from Sephora so if I don't like it I can always return it :)
