Would you wear these?

The always fashion-forward Victoria Beckham pioneed the heel-less look, inspiring even the likes of Gaga to strut around LA in Antonio Berardi heel-less footwear.

I love this gravity defying style but I must admit, my calves hurt just by looking at them.

Would any of you ladies dare to wear these surreal shoes?

Oh my.. on Jan 18, 2011 @ 01:59 pm

I don't know if I could balance in these. I would be curious to try these on and see if I could actually walk. I feel like I would look like a baby giraffe taking my first steps. The bottom ones (boots) look a little trashy to me though...

absolutely not on Jan 18, 2011 @ 02:16 pm

We've taken a skeptical look at these before, and along with the Louboutin animal-print sneaker hope I they never ever break mainstream.

Here's a reminder of those incomprehensible sneakers (via NYMag)

I don't think I would ever have a reason or a desire to wear heel-less shoes. There is just something about the heel itself that makes the shoe sexy. I like the animal print sneakers though! I want them in tiger stripes

Kurt on Glee :) on Jan 18, 2011 @ 03:09 pm

The McQueen's will forever remind me of the 'Gaga' inspired Glee episode where Kurt was the only cast member who rocked the stage in heels, and in McQueens of course :)

GLEE on Jan 18, 2011 @ 03:22 pm

Try Again on Jan 18, 2011 @ 03:25 pm

Watch a couple episodes and then form an opinion. It always feels like when you decide to watch just one episode of a show it ends up being a weird episode or a bit of a dud. Try a couple from earlier in the first season so the complicating story line doesn't get in the way of your inevitable enjoyment ;)

The thing is, I have tried watching at least 5 different ones. But all this hype around it makes me think I'm missing something... Although I don't usually subscribe to hyped up trends... so maybe that's just the case.

LOL I like how the shoe conversation turned into one about GLEE :P

Glee is filled with fashion! So, it's not too much of a leap from wild shoes.
