I personally love both and I've always had both but I am always drawn to cats. I have a beautiful 4 year old calico that I adore. I just lost my 15 year old dog Toby, he was my buddy, I took him everywhere with me. He was a half breed of Golden Lab and Siberian Husky. I also love all wild cats too :)

I am with you I love both cats and dogs I have 3 indoor cats and a dog of my own, I am also taking care of a friends dog for the last 4 months til they can find a new place and get on there feet. My neighbor and I also feed the stray cats and she belongs to the spade and neuter release program to help reduce the cat population. I really wish I could save them all it breaks my heart to see abused and abandoned animals.

I totally get what you're saying. I try not to think about all the animals who have nobody to care for them and love them, it breaks my heart. I wish I could have a house full of cats and dogs but that wouldn't be realistic lol. I use to bring food to these 2 stray kittens and their mother near the garbage about 10 km from my place and I'd bring them food and milk everyday and then one of them was killed by a car. I had finally gotten the little cat to trust me enough to pet him and he dies the next day. OMG I was so saddened but I kept going back to feed the other two and then they just dissapeared. I noticed that others were leaving food and stuff for them also. So it's good to know that there are people out there that care, just like yourself :)

I'm a dog person through and through. I absolutely love them. I have a Cavalier Spaniel and a Cavalier Spaniel mixed with a shitzu.

I love both for various reasons. I have both a cat and a dog, and they are both my babies!

I have two cats and a dog , but I have always been more of a cat person. Cats are so sweet and quiet and loveable. And dogs are more loud and energetic. I guess I have always been more drawn to cats! =^.^=

I totally agree with you Kylee. Cats are more laid back and dogs have a lot of energy lol I guess that`s why I like both same as yourself for their own individual qualities :)

I'm glad you agree with me on that! I love when cats purr it lets you know that they love you and they love getting affection.

I prefer cats. They are pretty set it and forget it animals and usually come around only when they need attention. Also they are okay to be left alone while you are at work or school so cats all the way!

I grew up with beagles and never knew what it was like to have a cat until I met my husband. I was always sort of scared of cats because I had relatives with nasty ones that would always scratch. But I have a German Shepherd/Rottweiler mix, a maine coon, and a mystery cat. I love all 3 of them! My cats are really relaxed and chill, and they're a bigger bread so they're bigger than a lot of small dogs, but the dog I have now is bigger than any dog I've had before, so that's been an adjustment. She's a good cuddle-monster though, if not a bit hyper active.

I have to say that I am a bit of both.I always had a dog until this past 12yrs.My Beagle passed away with Cancer and that is when I really fell in love with Cats.I rescued two,a male and a female which I named Molly and Jake.I love them to pieces.they are so adorable and funny when they are skylarking, especially Jake.Molly doesn't play as much because she has Arthritis in one of her back legs. She is on a medication,Metcam every day and every three weeks she has a needle for it.I do a lot of lifting with her when she wants to get up on something.Jake gets a little jealous so,then I have to spend time with him.I love them both and they are spoiled terribly. My Babies.
