The latest Book Club pick is Love the One You're With, by chick lit scribe extraordinaire, Emily Giffin!

30 of you will receive a free autographed copy of the book direct from the publisher. Selection has already been completed, so if you haven't heard from us (and please, do check your spam folder just in case) you'll need to head out and borrow or buy your own copy if you'd like to join the discussion.

"Hey! Why didn't I get one?"

We throw active members an extra entry into the hat, so increase your odds for the next freebie by chatting about the books or participating elsewhere on our site.

Stay tuned: discussions will begin in early July.

Question! on Jul 13, 2009 @ 04:25 pm
Do we start the discussion once we have all finished reading the book? Or do we discuss them by chapter, sections. etc?

Hi Artist on Jul 13, 2009 @ 05:30 pm
We're looking to start the discussion most likely by the end of this week. Some of the readers may not have gotten the book yet, but MamaLuv might have a better understanding. She'll be e-mailing everyone a day or two just before we start :)

Since I'm the one co-hosting the book club, I usually start the discussion questions. There are others who pitch in as well which is always nice!! There's no exact format, so our questions tend to be more open ended but there were a few specific ones. If you have any questions, please feel free to add them!

bone to pick on Jul 15, 2009 @ 02:20 am
I forgot to mention that I have a bone to pick with the author. She kept mentioning NEWTON avenue when it came to LEO's house, and I thought that I had been calling it NEWTOWN ave by mistake all my life. So, I looked it up,it is newtown ave,it's not that big a deal, but the author should have caught that error before it went to print.

halfway through on Jul 16, 2009 @ 11:05 am
first of all I was so excited to get a signed copy!! Woweee, Thank you!!! I am halfway through and can hardly put it down. There are so many things about the characters that remind me of my own life and people I know. The story very compelling and without giving anything away, I feel very nervous reading it, like I was in the situation rather than watching it from the side. I can't wait to see how it turns out.

Am reading it too on Jul 17, 2009 @ 12:02 pm
I was very curious about this book so I decided to join in and read it too! It's fantastic, I love it. I haven't finished it yet but so far, it's awesome. The Andy character reminds me a lot of Alex actually, so naturally I'm rooting for him! Looking forward to the discussion!
