curlytop45 | New Book Selection on Aug 19, 2009 @ 09:59 am Hi Mamaluv, I'm so glad you posted the new book selection!!! I was starting to get anxious with a book to read. I'm looking forward to this one, I did read Memoirs of a Geisha so if this is half as good it will be a great read!

nessie | Yay! on Aug 21, 2009 @ 03:48 am I shall put it on hold at the library :) |
everestwater123 | .. on Aug 24, 2009 @ 03:04 pm Who else has started reading this book? I got a copy of the LARGE PRINT version from the library so reading it looks a little funny. I just started..It seems to be good so far.. |
 mamaluv | LARGE PRINT on Aug 25, 2009 @ 07:26 am Everest, that's funny!
I've started reading it already. I think this is one of those books where there is a lot of hidden meaning and nuances... may take more than one read to really "get" it. I like it though! |

I'm enjoying it so far, also. But I agree with Mamaluv... there are a lot of "layers" in the story! |
 nessie | Yay! on Sep 04, 2009 @ 07:58 am Can't wait to write about it :)
I was quite captivated by the photo on the cover of my copy, because the face is turned away. However, I was just checking in a book at the library called Silk by Penny Jordan, and it has the exact same cover! So strange! |

make-up-junkie | sweet! on Sep 08, 2009 @ 10:03 am going to pick this up - need a new book to read! |
curlytop45 | It's good so far on Sep 10, 2009 @ 09:30 am As Mamaluv said there is a lot going on in this book. You have to really concentrate while you're reading or you miss stuff and have to re-read the section.
It's really interesting though, it grabbed me from the first chapter. |
