Brangelina to officially tie the knot

In case you've been off the grid, the huge news in Celebworld is the official engagement of Brangelina, a.k.a. Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie.

Question is, do we actually care? I'm feeling a little anti-climactic about the whole thing.

They act like they're married, have kids, live together... there's more important news going on in the world and in the celeb world... over it.

Don't know why on Apr 16, 2012 @ 09:27 am

I've bin with the same guy for 25 years, have to boys and having that
peace of paper sure isn't going to change anything with us. We feel and
act married now, so we sure wouldn't bother to get married after all
this time. I guess that peace of paper means more to some then it does
others, but its bin my experience if you've bin living like your married
for years then really do get married, it doesn't work out. Everyone I
know that did were getting divorced with in a year. Something about that
little peace of paper made them all nuts.LOL I have a feeling the same
thing is going to happen here.

Nothing surprising on Apr 16, 2012 @ 09:30 am

They're living in together and already had kids so this was bound to happen. I agree, it's not really big news but congrats to them anyways.

pshk... on Apr 16, 2012 @ 11:57 am

It's just a way of getting attention, imo. They stage conflicts (didn't we hear that brad was cheating on her?), almost break up, then get back together, when these tricks don't work they go ahead and pick up another kid etc etc. Have been doing that for the past 7 years. Now when they figure another fight won't bring our attention towards them, they get engaged. It's just another way of getting the spotlight. These two are the most fame hungry people I've ever seen, and they're so obvious about it! They always have to be the center of attention. Whether it's by fighting, almost breaking up, being lovey dovey perfect couple, or adopting another kid. When the old stuff don't work anymore, get engaged. I won't be surprised if they milk this engagement for all it's worth. I betcha they'll have fights, almost breakups, cheating rumours, etc. and once we get tired of that, they'll get married, and more things will happen just to grab our attention.

I don't care how many kids Angelina adopts, I love her as an actress, but I can't get over that no matter how kickass she is in reel life, in real life she's a home wrecker.

And Brad, that wrinkly-faced-gray-goatee guy, right. Not hot. When was the last time he was in a hit movie, anyways?

I'm sure it'll be an amazing wedding... but no, not really surprised or excited in the least :P

Ugh Angelina on Apr 16, 2012 @ 05:07 pm

@Becky - "I can't get over that no matter how kickass she is in reel life, in real life she's a home wrecker." YES THANK YOU!
I'm sorry, but she totally broke up Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston (it takes 2, but that's beside the point). She comes across as being a very seductive, I'll-get-what-I-want-one-way-or-the-other kind of woman. She is a homewrecker and she acts as if she's proud of it. For those reasons, I can't stand Angelina. It's only a matter of time before she cheats on Brad Pitt too.
And I thought they were married already? But whatever. Couldn't care less to be honest!

Over It on Apr 17, 2012 @ 09:42 am

I'm pretty over the whole Brangelina thing, I get tired of seeing them literally EVERYWHERE.

In case you haven't gotten a good glimpse of the rock though, here's a pic:

SO over it and then some on Apr 17, 2012 @ 10:51 pm

Besides he's a serial engaged man. Gwyneth Paltrow, Jenn An, and one actress before all that... it just all feels like a re-run. Except he now collects children like I collect fragrances.
Oh - weren't they waiting for 'everyone to have the right to marry' or some other social issue?
