Not my first choices on Apr 04, 2011 @ 12:27 pm

I am a little surprised Miss Taylor Swift managed to beat guys like Brad Paisley, Keith Urban and Toby Keith for entertainer of the year. I've seen all of these musicians in concert (except Toby Keith but I hear he's amazing) and Taylor Swfit can't do a show like Brad Paisley. That said, she is very talented and the category takes more than just a couple concerts into consideration. And lord knows she doesn't need people going all Kanye on her and saying who really deserved the award so I say, Go Taylor!

Also, I'm not a fan of Miranda Lambert and I would have thought Zac Brown Band would have won for single of the year or Band Perry. I've heard those songs on the radio being requested much more than The House That Built Me. But I suppose that's just here?

You`re right, it`s not just about putting on a good show. It`s about who dominated country music radio stations and album sales and mp3 downloads - Taylor definitely deserved to win.

I`m a huge fan of the Zac Brown Band and I`m really glad Lady Antebellum didn`t go home empty handed.
