One of my grandkids needs something for an upcoming bakesale at school. I love to make things to contribute. Do you enjoy this also, and what do you usually make for it?

I will bake something for a bake sale. Usually I just do cupcakes with buttercream icing and muffins. Most Canadians I encounter have never had butter icing before and go nuts over it.

A nut free bread like Banana loaf is always another idea, or even a whole cake ..I've gone to the dollar store and bought the disposable cake pans to use. (I only say nut free because one of the children in my son's class is allergic, so we are highly aware)

Rice Krispie treats are a popular kid-friendly bake sale item. They're the first to go whenever we have fundraisers with baked goods.
