Do you go chop down a real tree for Christmas or do you put the same fake one up every year?

DO YOU HAVE A REAL TREE OR FAKE TREE?-charbella2 on Dec 21, 2015 @ 08:26 pm

I really love real trees. But for the last few years I have put up several small trees which all have lights and they really do add so much sparkle to the rooms in my home. I love decorating for Christmas. I do have three pine trees outside in the front of my home which I decorate with lights every year. Looks so pretty. Great post and Have a Merry Christmas.

I would love to have a real tree but can't because my husband has to many allergies

I have a fake one because my cats love to climb and play in the real one, but they leave the fake one alone.

Fake for me. I'm a massive bugphobic and insects love real trees ;_;

We have a real tree. It has become tradition in the house. We usually go cut one down but this year my DH broke his ankle and I didn't think I could haul a big tree myself, so we settled for a pre cut.

I use a small tabletop tree. It's beautiful when lit up. It's aradesant. The colours are beautiful. I got tired of decorating a tree by myself and then putting it away. No one in my house interested in a tree!

The only thing fake about me is my tree ;-) on Dec 23, 2015 @ 06:49 pm

I've had real trees, and I've had fake trees. I will always prefer fake trees - less mess, NO bugs and I can compensate for the lack of evergreen scent with a candle. It's a shame that fake trees are bad for the environment, but until they start growing white trees, I'll continue to use the one in my closet! LOL

@coutlee sometimes a small tree is all you need! At my home away from home, I live in a condo so the only thing that fits is a tabletop tree. It's still beautiful and emits the christmas vibes!

I have had both real and fake trees and I love the ease of my white fake tree. No Sap, no unexpected spiders, and I don't have to water it :)

I love the real trees too don't get me wrong but I also love the fact that I chose my perfect tree and I get to enjoy it for years to come!
