My favorite flower that comes up out of the ground is Hyacinths. The fragrance of them is so intoxicating and they are beautiful in pinks and purples. My favorite flower to plant or pot are petunia's. They come in so many colors and just take off growing. They even have the wave petunia. I like the striped ones because they remind me of my late Grandfather. He always potted red/white striped petunia's. I try to find them every year to put in hanging baskets. Ginger.

That is sweet memory to have of your late Grandfather.

I've always loved daisies, they're such a beautiful usually overlooked flower, and they always seem so happy.

I am drawn to the intoxicating smell of the elegant hyacinth. It has such an ephemeral beauty that graces our garden with her fragrant bloom. I look forward to admiring their beauty every year.
They remind me of my precious Nonna. She had many lilac bushes and trees throughout her beautifully landscaped property. We could smell the unique perfume of these delicate flowers drifting inside her home. They would overspill in tall vases inside her warm and inviting home. I've planted many lilac bushes and trees around my home to hold on to those cherished memories that have made me who I am today. Mi manchi moltissimo bella Nonna!
The fragrant bloom of English Lavender is such a soothing scent. I walk by my lavender and stroke my hand through the leaves to release the floral fragrance in the air. It has such a clean and refreshing scent that lingers and leaves you feeling relaxed.
What a joy to see the return of these striking blooms that are reborn in our gardens every welcoming Spring. They invite us to join them in the great outdoors and take in our private oasis.
