KOBO takeover of Sony store...ereader

Did anyone else have a Sony ereader problem?  I know that KOBO took over the Sony ereader store but I haven't been able to download books from there.  I have successfully purchased books but there is no download option.

I contacted KOBO and this is what they said:
"please be advised that the file format of the books are ePub3 and are
not accessible due to the missing download option. For future reference
you can feel free to save the preview of the book in your library in
order to determine if there is a download option before purchasing.

We have locked and removed the book from your library and have provided you with a Kobo store credit" and also this "Kobo is currently working on a software upgrade to download the books wireless"

Problem is that when I saved book prviews to my library, there is still no download option for my reader.  I think that before KOBO allowed Sony ereader owners to purchase books they should have figured out all the issues.  I have a store credit that I can't use...haven't found any books that interest me with the download option.
