Has anybody tried the Miracle Fruit that changes your tastebuds temporarily? I have been wanting to try it and I heard they sell it at Costplus World Market.
Here's an article if you've never heard of it: http://www.nytimes.com/2008/05/28/dining/28flavor.html?_r=0

This kinda sounds awesome! I had never heard of the Miracle Fruit before. It'd be an interesting thing to try out sometime, but I don't know if it would be a regular routine thing!
Thanks for sharing!

the article did not say the miracle fruit has its own benefits, but changes the flavor of other things you eat.
so, if you are diabetic, stock your house with something bland - for diabetics. then eat this miracle fruit - and every thing taste like sugary.
for those on diet - your brocolli will taste sugary too.
so this is like a useful, temporary (last one hour) and organic flavor....?
problem is - i like brocolli as it is, when it taste sweet, oh well, i will puke it! LOL
definitely an interesting fruit. I would love to plant it in my garden for sure, if seeds germinate or cuttings are available.
