HAPPY NEW YEAR everyone!!!
2013 ...wow! Is it just me or did 2012 fly by super fast?
Do you ladies know, 2012 was the last year in our lifetime where we'll have a day in the year when month/day/year is the same number. December 12th 2012 at 12pm was the last time a month, day, year and time will coincide.
Every new year I make resolutions which I attempt to keep. This year I'm planning on making a resolution and a creating a plan on how to keep the resolution.
So, what is your new years resolution and what steps will you take to ensure you keep it?

Thanks! You too.
I feel the same way. It felt as though 2012 flew by, and I don't think I got much accomplished! I guess having a child, and being a single parent - makes the time go by faster? haha.
2013 will hopefully be a great year! My resolution is simply weight loss. I want to lose about 30 lbs, and then tone my body. I haven't been confident in awhile, so this should help out!
Happy New Year, chicks!

I'm actually going to take some time this year to think of some resolutions that are actually attainable. I did an ok job of actually keeping them last year, but I think I kind of lost something at some point because I didn't have any plans or steps or ideas, it was too vague.

@Katelynrose1984: Congrats on your beautiful bouncing baby :-) As far as I can tell, being a parent is hard work, and being a single parent has to be one of the hardest. But you brought a child into this world and I'm sure this child will bring a lot of joy and confidence into your life!! A very close friend of mine is a single parent (loser dad bailed immediately after child birth) and she's one of the best most dedicated mother's our age I know. She has a healthy extremely happy gorgeous baby boy who brings her tons of happiness in return.
So here's the spin, you will lose weight this year, I'm sure you'll do it! But how will you lose weight? What's your action plan? I always find I make tons of great resolutions, but I don't commit to an action plan and set myself up for failure.
Here are my resolutions for 2013 and action plan.
Complete my second degree: I'm already enrolled in the necessary courses, have bought the books, etc.
Lose Weight: Invested in "Insanity" and will do that program. Bought raspberry ketone a while ago and will start taking it soon. Currently reading a nutrition/digestion book to better educate myself on how to eat better.
Save money: I will start shopping my own stash and using up the stuff I already own before buying more stuff. Err, I need to buy Nars tinted moisturizer and Armani Silk foundation... after which I'll start saving money, I swear!
