Has anyone seen the new Rebecca Black video? It's called My Moment and it was released yesterday night and has about 1.1 million views right now. You can watch it over here.
It's definitely different than the last video, still a ton of cheese, but they've taken out a lot of the ridiculousness that made the first video so funny. And because you can't ever get too much of a hilarious thing, here is the link for the first video. She's still really autotuned I thought so the singing isn't all that much better.
What did you think? What will become of Rebecca Black?

I seriously hope she goes down in history as a one hit wonder, like the group that came up with the macarena. It's seriously catchy but please no more!

Semi-agree with Tasha, but I think it's cute for her trying! Maybe she'll actually develop some better chops, and then gain more respect. In the meantime, I'll continue to watch Last Friday Night and root for her there.

I think she looks so much better now ever since the Katy Perry's Last Friday night video. I've watched an interview of her before and she actually sang and she sounded really good. She doesn't need this autotune stuff, she has a good voice, they need to let her use it.

Jeez I can't get over how gorgeous she looks!!! She has a million dollar smile, look classy, innocent, sweet, etc. I can watch this music video on repeat. I just adore her makeup, dress, expression, and dance.
Oh yea, I also like the song :-)

I agree, the autotuning is still so noticeable that it makes it far too artificial for me. I would rather hear a genuine sound from her, but perhaps she doesn't yet have all the vocal training she needs to be able to carry a song on her own strength?
What I like about this song is the general message. She's taken something that must have been humiliating and extremely hurtful and turned it into a positive message for other girls--to keep on truckin' and bring your A-game every day. She looks sweet and wholesome, and overall I think this song/video is a good move in the right direction (compared to 'Friday' or not).
However, I think she should take her 15 minutes of fame and move onto other things. I'm sure she's learned so much about herself through this experience that it will only benefit her future.

I'm glad she did something in response. I think it's a great way to move on from the ridicule she went through. I don't see this being top 40 or anything but good for her that she didn't let everything get to her!
