I wanted to properly thank MissChickie, Alex and the Team for organizing the shop crawl... it was sooooooooooo much fun!!!!!

This was my first ever shop crawl, and it was a blast!! I made some new friends, renewed some old ones... and just had an amazing night!!

Oh and did I mention we also got a LOT of FREE STUFF?? And gift certificate off SPA Treatment?? And RAFFLES, and FASHION SHOW, and ...just plain girls night out FUN!!! (and lets not forget the FREE STUFF!!!)

Honestly you guys did an amazing job... I can't begin to imagine the work that went into this (getting soooooooo many sponsors, organizing the event, getting shops to participate in it, the cocktail party afterwards, and i'm sure tons and tons of other things happening in the background we don't even know about) ... but it was a LOT of fun!!!

I really needed a girls night out, and was really looking forward to this... and I wasn't disapointed.

Not to be greedy but ............. I can't wait for the next event!!! lol :)

It was so much fun to see you all and meet some of you for the first time. We'll have some pictures to share soon!

hot-cuppa	THANK YOU!!!!!!! on Jun 20, 2009 @ 06:21 am Many thanks to MissChickie, Alex and the entire ChickAdvisor Team for such a wonderful evening!! It was my first Shop Crawl and my girlfriend and I were more than impressed. Obviously a lot of planning went into it, with notices displayed in each shop, and every store clerk fully aware of what was going on. The coffee break stand at Roots was perfect timing as my bags were getting heavy by that point. With all the goodies received along the way, I felt like royalty from beginning to end.

becky	hmm...where to start?? on Jun 23, 2009 @ 04:56 pm Pretty much everything!!! Not only did we get really good discounts on every store, many stores also gave us drinks ..hehe :) the person who said we got treated like royalty said it best - that's exactly how it was. Everywhere had really good discounts, my favorite was Gap where i saw this beautifully tailored, really soft material, light tan coloured shirt ...and they only had one in my size (which of course the dummy was wearing) so I had the really nice sales clerk strip the dummy and give me the shirt ...only to find that it had a big rip in it :( so sad.... but i'm going to another gap store sometime this week and buying the shirt. A good shirt is an investment!!! (right?) .... it was aaaaaaaaawesome ... can't wait for the next one!!! :) next time i'm taking my shopping gf with me so we can take toronto stores by storm! ;-) she's already crying over missing this one (she had commitments she couldn't get away from) and of course i'm a very loving friend so I'm making sure to show off my free stuff and list of stores and discounts and goodies, to make her feel extra bad for missing it ;-) hehe
