Price Range? on Sep 06, 2008 @ 11:33 pm
Before I buy tickets I'm wondering what the price ranges are in these
stores? It feels kinda weird that I'm spending money to spend money
especially if I don't buy anything if everything in the store is
outside of my price range.

It depends what you are looking for. We always look for stores that are reasonably priced to begin with. It's the same prices as you would find in the mall but these stores are independent boutiques (with the exception of American Apparel).
The cost of the tickets covers the planning and running of the event in addition to the costs of the after party. Don't worry about not getting your money's worth. The discounts will more than make up for the cost of the ticket and even if you don't buy anything you will definitely get your money's worth at the after party. ;)
Here are a few reviews from stores we have had in previous Shop Crawls:
Freebies! on Sep 07, 2008 @ 04:35 pm
- further to MissChickie's comments - we always have a fabulous swag bag for everyone (retail value much more than the price of your ticket) and high-value door prizes. I'm sure past ShopCrawlers would tell you that the swag, prizes, and refreshments are more than worth the cost of admission!
Always a great time!!! on Sep 08, 2008 @ 10:24 am
This is always a GREAT event!!! Well worth the cost of the tickets. There is a lot of work that goes into these events and I appreciate it every time. My friend and I always find great bargains! And the swag bags are full of great freebies! I can't wait!
Please don't tell me they are sold out already!!!??? The site won't let me put in a quantity to buy my tickets!!??

Well worth it! on Sep 08, 2008 @ 01:39 pm
Irregardless if you buy or not buy something from the stores, I always found the Shop Crawls to be WELL WORTH the cost. The swag bags are always amazing and the stores participating always have neat little finds in it....not to mention the after party is loads of fun! I have always brought friends with me to the Shop Crawls and every time they are amazed at the value you get for your money!!! I am actually very sad that I am going to miss this Shop Crawl as I will be living in Vancouver by that time :o( Can't wait til there is a Shop Crawl there though! I will definitely be there! :o)

We will have stylists along on the crawl to help you put together the perfect outfits. The stylists will be leading the groups of shoppers so if you want to make sure you shop with one, come on time!
Joy David-Tilberg from Makeup Junkie and the expert on our video series' ChickChat TV and Where'd You Get That? will be on hand at the after party doing free makeovers. This is first come, first served.
We are pulling together a bunch of prizes for the after party and will have details on that shortly...
Ticket sales are humming along swimmingly. Sort out your plans now as we will sell out. I'll keep posting details here and on our blog as they happen.

They unfortunately had to back out due to a scheduling conflict, but we think the other stores will still make up for it.

CHANGE OF DATE on Sep 15, 2008 @ 02:50 pm
We are moving the Shop Crawl back to Thursday October 16th. The times will be exactly the same, we are just moving them back by one week.
It is Yom Kippur on the 9th, a major Jewish Holiday and we didn't want anyone to be left out. If you have already purchased tickets for the 9th and are unable to make it, please send me an email and I will arrange for you to have a refund.
Thanks for understanding and I appologize for any confusion. The good news is Ziggy's at Home is back on board!
