I am reading The Man Who Couldn't Stop - OCD and the True Story of a Life Lost in Thought by David Adam. I love psychology books and figured this would relate to me, and it does, but I can't get into it. I feel guilty when I stop reading in the middle of a book but I think of all of the other great books I'm missing out on while I struggle to finish this...ugh.

I hate when I have to stop reading a book when I'm more than halfway through because it's too boring or the writer completely gets off track. Sometimes I might halfheartedly finish reading the book just because I already invested so much time in it, or hope/pray that it gets better.

Since it's raining cats and dogs outside i had nothing better to do than finish Prodigal Son. I do not recommend this book; it started out okay, but went quickly downhill when it was established who was the "bad guy". And Danielle Steele's writing style bored me, she drones on and on about nothing, I found myself skipping paragraphs just to get back to the story. And the ending was anticlimactic anyway (yawn!!!) My co-worker loved this book; I will have to ask her if she's sure that it's the same one she told me about!
