I have a lot of embarrassing stories but one that takes the cake is when I was in this baking program at my school I was making a big batch of icing. I guess it slipped my mind to check the speed setting on the mixer so I turned it on and poof cloud of icing sugar went flying everywhere!! It was all over me and the floor and table.. Everyone was laughing but my teacher was not impressed. Took me awhile to get the icing sugar out of my hair.

embarrassing story on May 18, 2015 @ 08:32 pm

Hi Kylee, I will tell you one of mine and there are many. A few years ago I was in the parking lot at Wal-Mart. I wasn't looking straight up, but was rumaging through my purse. All of a sudden my head hit something hard and down on the asphalt I went. I was dazed and my head spinning. The guy in the Garden Center was helping me up and asking if I was okay. Everyone around me was laughing so hard and I saw what had happened. Some one had a long construction ladder too long for his truck. It was so long it had to be tied down. I had run into the side of the ladder. I was so embarrassed and my head had a goose egg on it. Even the Garden Center guy laughed after a few minutes. My head hurt for days. For almost a month when I went to Walmart my husband would laugh and tell me to watch out for ladders. That's just 1!!

That sounds like it was really painful Ginger!! I can't believe people were laughing at you, how would they feel if it happened to them? They sure wouldn't be laughing. It's good that you have found humor in that situation though! To be able to laugh at yourself, it's a good thing. :) thanks for the response means a lot. Have a great evening Ginger.

embarrassing moment on May 18, 2015 @ 11:19 pm

Hi Kylee, it was a bit painful, but a few moments later, I was laughing too. Goose egg and all. I've got another one for you. 1 day while in Wal-Mart, I had to go to the bathroom very urgently, my water pill was working! Anyway, I get in there and put 1 of those disposable toilet liners on the potty. I finished, washed my hands and continued shopping. I know a lot of people that work at this store. Everyone I would pass in the isles, would giggle after they passed me. I ran into my friend who is a CSM there. She says; girl, what have you been into? I didn't know what she was talking about and she said follow me. We went back in the bathroom and she said; girl, look at the back of your pants! I did and was mortified. The toilet liner had some how got stuck in my pants and was hanging down below my shirt. I'm so glad she told me. I was so embarrassed, I don't know what the people thought I had been doing. I don't go in their bathrooms any more! Okay, everyone else needs to tell a story, this makes 2 for me. It's quite fun to be able to laugh at yourself and hear others tales also. Keep them coming. Thanks for listening and hope it at least made you smile! Have a good day, Ginger. (Good topic Kylee)

Hi Blubie, I'm sorry they made fun of your shoe size, that's a common size in the US though. I hope you aren't bothered by it anymore. Be proud of yourself and what you do in life. For years, I was self conscious about my ears. They are very small, compared to my body. I got over it and I don't care, I was made this way. I hope you have a great day, Ginger.

Oh no! That is super embarassing, I would have turned about 50 shades of red if that were to happen to me. I'm glad that your friend pulled you aside and told you about the situation before you were to continue walking around like that.. yikes. I will have to be extra careful when I go to the bathroom now, I am so worried about having the toilet paper mishap happen to me. The toilet paper hanging out of the back of the pants oh boy..

Well it is good to laugh at yourself and be light hearted! :) You sound like an awesome lady to be able to do that.

Thanks for the share, have a great day Ginger.

I'm so sorry to hear that people were laughing at the size of your feet. That is so rude and inconsiderate of people to be doing that. You cannot change the way you were born, everyone has their unique qualities that make them beautiful in their own way. :) Don't let people like that bring you down!! Stand up strong and tall and remember you are one of a kind.
Have a great day, thanks for the story.
