I've been kind of following it. I don't have nearly enough time to watch all the games, but I catch the highlights.
My family is a bunch of Brits so we're all rooting for England. And as much as I love them, I'm also secretly rooting for the Netherlands.

My family is Indian so I can't root for my "people" LOL ... if Canada had a team you better believe I would cheer for them. Alas I do not have either of those options. SO since my mom is part Portuguese I use that as an excuse to cheer for them.

Here's the upside - there are several strong teams that I'd be thrilled to take the title.
We have a German background, so that's naturally our top team, but I've always been a huge England fan. But we currently live the US and I have been quite impressed with the Team USA showing so far - gotta love an underdog!
So the downside is when these teams play AGAINST each other, you're kind of secretly hoping for a tie... :)

I don't really follow sports at all...but I was happy when I saw hat Slovenija made it to the cup as that's where my family originates from. :) So like the rest of you ladies I'm going for my 'home' team.
I'm very disappointed with the lack of Slovenija gear out in Montreal. I went to a bunch of stores just to find some Slovenijan items and while they were stocked full of a ton of different types of gear for other teams it took me about 5 stores until I found just a flag!
