They can be used to purchase one product. I receive electronic Amazon gift cards all the time through a note taking site I use for university. I put in the gift card code and it will apply a balance to my account. This balance will never expire and will just accumulate if you keep adding gift card codes. When you go to check out it will ask if you want to pay by credit card or through your gift card balance. If you are buying a $10 product and you have $30 as a gift card balance it will only take the amount of the product so you will have $20 left over. If you are buying a $30 product and only have $10 as a gift card balance you can use that $10 and then pay the rest through credit card.

Thanks for the helpful info ladies! If I understand correctly, you just sign in and type in your gift code which will save it into your "bank" for you to use at a later date, right? Sounds easy enough. I'll test it out soon. :)

That is correct! It will sit in your "bank" until you decide to use it. I always add them to my account right away so I don't lose the codes in my email. Best of luck!

You just add your certificates to your Amazon account, and you can use the total whenever you like :)
It is super simple to add them!
