Some people are really into this sort of thing, like Epicure and Silpada. I have some family members who are really into it, but you have to be really personable and super pushy in order to actually make good money on it. You have to be able to host parties and be really good at convincing people to buy things. Personally if I had to pick one, I'd pick Epicure over Avon, because Epicure makes kitchen stuff-- from spices to gadgets-- and I feel like it's more useful, plus the food stuff is amazing.

My sister did this a few years ago during the Summer, since she's a teacher. She didn't hardly make anything. You have to know a LOT of people and hope they love Avon and be a loyal customer. There are some that can't use their products-like me. I would try and search something else. How's your nursing school coming along? That's a wonderful job. Good luck Shayln in what ever you decide, Ginger.

i started selling a few months back. I sell to a few people but mainly enjoy the discounts on my personal stock. It also opens other doors, for example avon reps receive a discount at canada post for shipping, not just avon products but all your shipping needs!
