Although I would never admit to being a Bieber fan I was sad to read this news story. According to Entertainment Weekly, Justin Beiber went to a New York Knicks game on Wednesday and when his face flashed on the big screen the crowd booed him.
The poor kid was just minding his own business and trying to take in a little basketball :(
Here's the video.

@ Lauren - I agree!
You know, I'm not a fan of his music. But the bottom line is he's just a kid trying to make it in the music business. And from a technical standpoint, he's a pretty darn good singer.
This is just stupid. I get so frustrated when the general public acts so boorishly. So you're not a fan? Then don't buy his music. Booing is really uncalled-for.

I can't hear the boo-ing. I listened to it 3 times and can't hear it! Gah!
It is really stupid though, what's the point of booing him! He handled it very well though.

I was watching a show called Pardon the Interruption (it's a sport show) and I completely agree with the announcer who said,
"Getting booed at the Garden is an honor. They reserve that for the big boys- Kobe, Shaq, LeBron....they don't boo just anybody"
While it may have been inappropriate to boo him, he sat there and took it....probably after his manager whispered, "Don't sweat it kid, they will be talking about this for days in the papers."
And we are talking about it, aren't we? Justin Bieber, 1
