I'm in the same boat! I don't know what to do for it! I do know that there is usually food, silly games, and some time to open presents!

I would definitely recommend going onto Pinterest to check out some ideas. They have everything you would ever need, and a lot of DIY projects.
I think the best bridal showers are those that are simple, but have fun elements. Make sure to keep the attention on the bride, because if she's happy.. The shower was a success!

Katelyn gave you a great idea, that will give you a lot of idea's. One thing you can do is give a gift to the guest that has the same bday as the wedding date, or who ever has the closest to the wedding date. Have the bride walk the room before any games are started and then ask them to write down what she was and wasn't wearing. Like the colors she had on, was she wearing a watch, did she have studs, long ear rings on, or no ear rings on. Have them guest their bride and grooms bdays, when they met, or wear they met. Just a lot of silly things like that. Place something under one of the plates that will be used and when everyone is done eating have them look under it to see how won something. The prizes don't have to be anything big, keep it simply and you'll have some fun.
If you know someone that you will be inviting to the shower that knows how to make a nice cake ask them if they'd be willing to make one for you. Make the food easy things like cabbage rolls, pasta, or potato salads, a lunch meat and cheese platter, bun and butter, coffee and tea. You can also make cheese cake tars, or if you don't think you can handle bake you can always order a few things.
I hope some of this helps both of you out, but I'm sure you'll both do fine. Don't make yourselves crazy over this. If something does go wrong just laugh it off and make a joke about it and move on.
I hope you both have fun and everything works out great for all of you!
Enjoy the day!!

|the point of a bridal shower on Jun 25, 2013 @ 05:04 pm|
In addition to what others have suggested I would add, don't stress about it. The point of a bridal shower is:
- Spend time with friends and family
- Get gifts to start her new life with hubby whether it's stuff they've requested from their registry or sexy things for the honeymoon
- Do something fun that the bride enjoys
You can either host at your place or go out somewhere like a restaurant. Don't feel like you need to have 10 games planned. Just a few is a nice way to break the ice as not everyone may know each other. People like guessing games so you could put together a fun questionnaire about the bride with multiple choice questions and then have a prize for the person that gets the most correct. You'd need to have some funny random stuff in there like how old she was when she had her first kiss or where their first date was as a couple, details on how he proposed, etc.
Don't stress too much. It will be fun!
