Christmas gifts with no money

I am a poor college student with about $30 in my bank account. I have 4 people that i wish to buy gifts for and I don't have any clue how to pull that off. My family has been so amazing this year...I had a house fire and my mom and dad have been so helpful I feel I owe them so much. My brother has taken me into his home and has been really supportive as well. I want to do something special and thoughtful. Please any suggestions you have I'd really appreciate.

If you are artsy, you can make a card; you can get some nice scrapbooking material for cheap at the dollar store. Baking cookies or cakes are also a great gifts but it won't cost you very much. I also think writing a nice letter to your family, saying pretty much what you've said in this post in the letter, would be the best gift. Tell them you love them and why you love them. :)

mamaluv	plan a special outing on Dec 23, 2009 @ 11:44 am In my experience, the best gift you can give someone special is your time. So why not plan a movie night with your bro featuring a few of his faves from the video store? Especially if it's a movie you would normally not choose for yourself. For your parents, suggest an outing that is to their liking - hiking, museum date (as long as admission isn't too expensive!), or flea marketing? But I really also love BB's idea of writing a heartfelt letter. Maybe include some great pics of you guys together and make a mini booklet out of it!
