im taking a trip with my 2 year old son to the phillipines coming up. there drinking water is not drinkable to people outside of that country.

He doesn’t really drink juice or soda. I was wondering of
the brita filtered water bottles would filter out the bacteria or does anyone
else have any other ideas? Thanks for the help!!

You should be able to buy bottled water over they.. Both of my nephews are over there teahing and that is what they do.. Maybe research it online or speak with your travel agent...

Bottled water will be your best friend! When I went over to Vietnam, Cambodia, etc. that's the only source I got my water from. I wouldn't drink any other. I accidentally drank the tap water a couple of times, alas nothing happened (phew). But it's not worth the risk. It may seem expensive to buy bottle water all of the time but when it translated to CAD it was only about 20 cents for a very large bottle.

Bottled water!!!
Also be careful with vegetables such as lettuce which are washed with tap water and hold onto the water and are abosrbed.

I've always been told in foreign countries avoid tap water and salads
