Do you buy vouchers from the sites which have the daily deals?
really caught on in the past year - and the deals can be crazy-good. My
question to you is - what types of things do you buy from them? And, do
you keep your vouchers hanging around - or do you use them immediately?
( I recently read that most of the deals expect about 8% of the
vouchers to never be used - in other words people buy and forget them)

Yes, it is sometimes hard to remember to use them! I've bought a few for The Body Shop; $20 for $40, I have a pottery class voucher to use (looking forward to that), I bought a couple for a bakery, I got one for a salon... that's all I can remember for now. But I find they are really good deals!
The only warning that I've heard about it the ones for salons can get booked FAST and there it is hard to get booked in when you want. I've also heard that can lead to customers getting a rushed job. The stylist is over booked with "coupon customers" and doesn't take the time with each customer that they should. I haven't had this issue, but I've heard it can happen.
But overall I highly recommend the group buying sites and coupons! Just remember to print them out and use them! It's easy to let them sit in your account and expire!
