Do you have any mice in your house?A cat keeps them at bay, but the thing that works best is to put a dried tea bag in a floor corner and on your kitchen counter top. They hate this and it is also good for ants.

Really? I never heard of that, my dad tells me that a mouse won't dare to enter your house if you have a cat because they will smell their scent apparently

There were mice coming in from the garage through the hose pipeline when we first moved into our house - you could hear them in the drop ceiling. Thankfully they only got as far as under the kitchen sink (no other cupboards or upstairs).
Once we figured out wherer they were getting in, we plugged up the hole in the winter, left traps/poison, and by the 3rd winter, no more mice.
Thank goodness! My husband would of brought his parents cat over while we camped out there otherwise - he is SO terrified of mice!

I hate mice! I have them in my porch. Bats are worse though. My husband didn't tell me we had them in the basement of our old house. I did laundry down there. I almost died when he told me after we moved. He didn't tell me because he didn't want to have to so the laundry lol

I can't say that I've ever heard of that as a way to keep either mice or ants at bay.

Don't forget if you use pest control methods and have pets to be extra careful and use pet safe methods!
